Since it's inception, ETL's primary goal has been to provide an enjoyable cheat free competitive environment for all it's participants. ETL has always be lived that players always being suspect of one another is just as much a plague in ET as the cheats themselves. This is why we've always permabanned for everything, to minimize that suspicion along with attempting to offer those who don't cheat a certain level of comfort in knowing that we're doing all we can to keep the competition clean & fair. Violators always seem to take it personal when the fact of the matter is, it really has very little to do with them & a lot more to do with the legit players.

Given the state of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory today (there's no denying the player pool is shrinking) & Wolfenstein not due out till next year we have decided to make some changes to our AntiCheat policy.

Starting with Season 3, cvar violations will be a season suspension. Meaning if you are suspended in week 5 of Season 3, you will be suspended until week 5 of season 4. All cvar violations are still at our discretion. Players with bans for multiple cvar violations may receive permabans or remain permabanned. All other violations will remain permanent bans. I'll close the doors before I ever let legit busts back in.

The following permabans are being transferred to suspensions. These suspension will be lifted at the conclusion of Season 2 meaning all of the following players will be eligible for Season 3

Using one of the methods below make the correct donation amount to Gateway for Cancer Research. Paypal methods require an addition $1 to cover service fee's. Instructions for the direct donation to Gateway can be found here.

Once you've made your Donation you will then need to fill out the Cup Team Sign Up Form

* I want to make it perfectly clear.... Any team that has already signed up & submitted their entry donation, who feels like the following changes are unjust or not what they signed up for, all you have to do is contact me via the contact us form, IRC or xFire & we can either discuss it or make arrangements for you to receive a full refund. I do not want anybody to feel like they were mislead.


6v6 Team list thus far

Due to lack of Admin support & the lack of response to ETL's attempts to contact teams that signed up, we have to decided to forgo our Call of Duty 4 leagues at this time. We apologize to those teams that did signup & remained in contact with us. ETL may attempt a Call of Duty 5 league in the future given the Admin support & demand is there.

Along with the removal of the COD4 league we have also removed it from the Don Baker Cancer Research Cup & have replaced it with a Wolf ET 3v3 division. I will be announcing more details soon but a rough post concerning changes can be found at Crossfire.

On a personal note when I started ETL it was with the intent to provide another competitive place for Wolfenstein Enemy Territory teams to compete until the much anticipated release of Wolfenstein. That was my goal then & I will re assume that goal now. Effective immediately Wolf ET & Wolfenstein will be my only focus. ETL will not include any additional games unless we acquire admin support for those games. In the meantime keep an eye out for our upcoming Wolfenstein page.

For an example of how future leagues will be made, as announced last week we have decided to move forward with the America's Army league. The reason we are able to do this is because of the the experienced Admin's ETL has acquired for Americas Army. these are admins who have previously run leagues & know their way around the community & the game. This will be the blueprint for all future additions to the ETL game list. We will only add games after we have the experience persons in place.
